At LAAT, we believe in building strong, respectful partnerships between home and school. We know all of our schools work hard to meet the needs of their pupils and families, but we understand that concerns may occasionally arise, and we are committed to addressing them constructively, transparently and in a timely manner.
In our Trust we ask that parents follow the ‘Raising a Concern’ protocol, found on each school’s webpage or via the school office which sets out clearly how to contact the school, in the right way, to ensure concerns are heard. This is an important step before any informal or formal complaint is raised.
However, if the concern is regarding the Safeguarding of a pupil at the school, please contact the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) which is the Executive Head or Headteacher, or the Deputy Safeguarding Lead(s) (DDSLs) by calling the school office without delay.
To help maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone, we also outline below our Parent and Carers Code of Conduct. This guidance sets clear expectations for behaviour and communication across all our schools.
