I’m here with the directors and the executive leadership team of LAAT in the middle of a strategy day. We’re working together to look at what we need to do next year to look after LAAT schools and you.
We just wanted to catch up with you all before the summer holidays start to say well done on another fabulous year.
Some of you will be moving on after the summer – our yr 11s and yr 6s and some of our yr 2s – we wanted to say goodbye and thank you for being part of the LAAT tribe. Remember what you’ve learnt; not just the academic subjects but also about how to be a good person and how to treat others well – all those things which will help you to make the world a better place for everyone.
Most of you will be at the same school in September but will probably have new classrooms and new teachers. Enjoy the challenges and opportunities that that will bring. Enjoy the new responsibilities of being in the year above!
If you’re a member of staff moving on we wish you all the very best. Thank you for all that you have done for the children and young people in LAAT. Enjoy your journey wherever it is taking you, and don’t forget us!
For those who are staying – enjoy the excitement of getting to know a whole new group of individuals, preparing to help them in their journey, watching them and supporting them to flourish as individuals. Take up every opportunity for yourselves too – including the support from the centre.
But, before all of that please please please, enjoy your summer holidays – all of you. Don’t work too hard, make sure that there is time for friends and family, relaxation and fun. And come back to us in September refreshed and rested and ready for a new adventure.
