LAAT believes that in order for children to thrive in the widest sense they need adults supporting them who are not only passionate educators but who are also professionally enriched and challenged.
This ensures that the two critical elements of subject knowledge – ‘the curriculum they teach’ – and the pedagogy –‘the craft of how the curriculum is taught’ – are continuously updated.
In addition to statutory and advisory training, LAAT actively supports employees who want to pursue professional qualifications, such as the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) which is designed to develop the leadership skills and behaviours needed to be an effective and high-performing headteacher or head of school.
We have a rich timetable of training available to all members of staff, both online and in person. Here is the list of training sessions we currently have scheduled.
